Under the clouds of acrylate
The daily life of two towns, Apaxco and Atotonilco located between the border of Estado de Mexico and Hidalgo (80 km north of Mexico City) is degradated by toxic contamination, but people fights for a clean environment.
These towns grew up in thew middle of the installation of cement industries since 1936. The marrow of the story starts on march 21st, 2009, when 11 farmers died instantly after opening the water sump doors of the community. They blame Ecoltec, mexican-swiss industrial waste recycling company, of the death of people and cattle, the permament disease on children and involuntary abortion on women.
